CONVIXION

Convixion are a Greek speed/thrash metal band from Athens, originally formed in 2002 under the name Conviction, before changing to Convixion in 2006 and gradually shaping their own distinctive sound. The band was founded by guitarist and vocalist Nick Papakostas, and was soon joined by Stelios Makris (guitar/vocals), Michael Bakoulas (bass), and Manos Kehagias (drums).
Their first full-length album, titled Convixion, was released in 2010 and presented an old-school heavy/speed metal character inspired by the classic 1980s metal sound: fast riffs, raw energy, strong attitude, and a style fully faithful to the roots of the genre. Since then, the band has maintained a strong presence on the live scene, performing at underground shows and festivals across Greece, always conveying the spirit of traditional metal—pure, unpretentious, and full of party atmosphere.
Convixion continue to this day to represent Greek old-school metal culture, combining speed with raw energy.
