Spider Kickers are a Greek thrash/death metal band from Ioannina, formed in 1986, and are one of the oldest and most distinctive underground metal acts in Greece. Their sound combines aggressive thrash riffs, death metal elements, fast-paced rhythms, and raw energy, with lyrics often addressing death, violence, social themes, and the underground, alcohol-fueled culture of metal.

Their discography began with demo releases in the late 1980s, while their first full-length album, The Northwest Emperor, was released in 1997. Over the years, albums such as VIII Division (2007), Alcoholic (2011), The Hill of the Dead (2014), Ektroma (2019), and Necrosupper (2024) followed, demonstrating their consistency and perseverance in an authentic death-thrash sound.

Spider Kickers have remained active for nearly four decades, performing live across Greece and abroad, taking part in festivals, and proudly representing the Greek underground metal scene. With their trademark dedication, attitude, and energy, they are regarded as one of the most historic and “hardcore” bands in the Greek thrash/death metal scene.
