Khirki are a Greek heavy/stoner rock trio from Athens, known for their distinctive blend of metal, rock ’n’ roll, and traditional folk elements, drawing influences from the East, the Balkans, and Greek music.

The band consists of Dimos Ioannou (guitar and vocals), Orestes Katsaros (bass), and Orestes Mavros (drums), creating a dynamic and distinctive sound with a strong sense of rhythm, energy, and melody.

Their debut album, titled Ktinodia, was released in 2021 and quickly became a favorite within the underground scene, thanks to its heavy sound, powerful riffs, and distinctive folk influences woven into the compositions. In 2024, their second album, Kykeonas, followed, considered more mature and enriched, featuring stronger production and greater experimentation in the way they blend metal, folk, and rock soundscapes.

Khirki have gained a strong presence on the live scene, taking part in festivals and shows across Greece, and are considered one of the most distinctive and rising Greek bands of recent years, with an authentic style, party-driven energy, and a characteristic connection to regional musical traditions.
